This summer, Morton Mandan Public Library (MMPL) is excited to merge two

big ideas into the ultimate summer reading program!

We’re celebrating the theme of “ADVENTURE BEGINS AT YOUR LIBRARY”

and MMPL’s exclusive NASA exhibit, “DISCOVER EXOPLANETS”

From June 1st - July 31st, we’re looking forward to...

Get ready for LIT-OFF as we mix the lunar with literacy; playtime with planets; and explore our library, the outdoors, and galaxies far far away.

How do I know what events QUALIFY FOR

AN ACTIVITY BADGE?

If you’re working towards earning any of the FIVE Activity Badges, you’ll see that some include tasks requiring you to attend events and programs that have a focus on Exoplanets and STEM, and others that are geared towards creativity and exploration.

In general, the Badge description will offer a list of events and programs offered by MMPL, our community partners, or local organizations that are eligible for the task.

The top 20 individuals wh0 go to infinity and

way beyond their reading minute goal will have their name displayed in the

MMPL Milky Way Reader Hall of Fame.

at the August 8th Curtain Call event.
